affirming goodness for Israel and Palestine

Israel declared war on Hamas after the Palestinian militant group launched a deadly assault in the Gaza Strip. Hundreds – or perhaps thousands – of Israelis and Palestinians have been killed or wounded. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has a long history. In 1948, the State of Israel was created, sparking the first Arab-Israeli War, and the territory was divided into three parts: Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip.

Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, I affirm goodness for the people of Palestine and Israel. I declare that safety, healing, understanding, and peace fills the hearts of all concerned. I see the points of conflict in my own life as invitations to express wholeness, knowing that I am cosmically connected to all others. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
