Lifting Up My Sisters and Brothers

The White House is asking Congress for $44 billion in emergency funding to help migrants at the U.S. border, support Ukraine in its resistance to Russia and to replenish FEMA’s depleted disaster relief funds after wildfires in Maui and Louisiana, flooding in Vermont, and a hurricane in Florida.

Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, remembering the Oneness of life, I’m thankful to be part of a community that lifts up those who need help. I pray that individuals and families who are hurting are receiving support and know that they are not alone. Today, I reach out to another with compassion and with my resources. I, too, am lifted up.
