Living in the light

​A blue moon will appear tonight, August 30. It will be the biggest and brightest full moon of the year. “Blue moon” is the name given to a second full Moon in a single calendar month, something that happens once every two to three years. The term blue moon originated from the 16th-century expression, “The moon is blue,” meaning something that was impossible.
