Making the World a Little Brighter

​An uplifting “think globally and act locally” practice is highlighted today as the annual Random Acts of Kindness Day is celebrated. The observance was created in 1995 by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation and invites us to make the world a little brighter by simple acts of good will. Shovel snow from a neighbor’s driveway, anonymously pay for someone’s lunch, offer encouragement to a friend or stranger. Do unto others…

Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, I give thanks for the goodness, compassion, and sense of oneness that is the fundamental reality of our spiritual and human lives. Today, I celebrate life connections with great heart and loveliness. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
