Quickened, Healed, and Transformed by Love

Jesse and Marylou Cirino, married 66 years, were experiencing some health issues which caused them to be admitted to St. John's Medical Center in Oxnard just days apart. The inseparable couple, both in their 90s, were grateful to be together so they renewed their vows from adjoining hospital beds. They’ve both had nice recoveries, prompting a nurse to credit “a power bigger than medicine for aiding in their recovery. Pure love.”

Affirmative prayer: Today, I seek not to find love in my life. Rather, I center down into the abiding love that already resides in the core of my being. I open wide my heart and arms to others, affirming the goodness in them and the deep connection of us all. We are renewed and made whole again. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
