the light that leads me home

Picture
A man who was abducted as a child in China more than 30 years ago has been reunited with his parents – thanks to a hand-drawn map he drew from memory. Li Jingwei couldn't remember the names of his parents or the village from where he was taken, but he remembered the rice paddies and ponds near his house. He posted the map online, which caught the attention of the right people, and Li had a tearful reunion with his parents.
“Let love be the light that leads you home.” – Rumi
Affirmative prayer: I give thanks that the love of God surrounds me, and the light of God brightens my path and leads me home. Amen.
