Inspired Passion and ingenuity

Linda Zhang, a Chinese immigrant who came to the U.S. when she was eight years old and who didn’t speak English, is now a chief engineer for Ford Motor Company and the lead designer of Ford’s new electric pickup truck, the F-150 Lightning. The truck is being hailed as a major step in moving this country closer toward a no-gas automotive future and everything that means for infrastructure and the climate.
