The Image We Reflect

While Radha Rao was performing on a Boston street corner, singing John Legend’s song, “All of Me,” she noticed a man standing nearby, wearing a mask, listening to her rendition of the song. Radha thought, “Gee, that guy looks a lot like John Legend.” It was when Legend removed his mask, applauded, and dropped a tip in her basket, she realized that he wasn’t a look-alike. “I was shocked, but I just kept singing. When I finished, he gave me a big hug.”

Affirmative prayer: Today, I give thanks for the many faces of God. I move through my days endlessly blessed by the Divine, reflecting back to me my best self. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
