a Chip Off the Divine Block

Flight attendant Cynthia Heck was working a Southwest Airlines flight, walking through the cabin, when an announcement by another flight attendant came over the system: “Does everyone see this sweet flight attendant walking in the aisle? She’s my grandma, so everyone better be extra nice to her,” said Hannah Heck. Later in the flight, Cynthia spoke over the system, “Everyone, ask my granddaughter, Hannah, who did her laundry last night!”
“Listen to me, you who seek the Divine, look to the rock from which you were hewn and to the quarry from which you were dug.” - Isaiah 51:1
Affirmative prayer: I give thanks that I am, that each of us is made in the image of the one Life that is the source and energy of all that is. I am a chip off the Divine block, a representation of Spirit’s love and power. I pray that the qualities of God within me are manifesting themselves in my life as loving relationships, empowered actions, and ideals made real. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
