Bringing my Brightness to Others

Justina Miles, a sign language artist, was a bright light at last week’s Super Bowl. The 20-year-old signed lyrics as Cheryl Lee Ralph sang, "Lift Every Voice and Sing," which is known as the Black national anthem. Justina made it possible for hearing-impaired viewers to participate. “To bring empowerment to millions of deaf people inspired me and, I hope, inspired others.” You can watch her here.
