LIghting Up My Reward Centers

A report by social psychologist and NYU professor, Jonathan Hyde, claims that the rise of social media correlates closely to the decline of the mental health of teenagers. TikTok, which has 150 million users in the U.S., and other platforms are said to be scarily addictive in the way they deliver a rush of endorphins to its users.
