Living forever through what we give

A growing movement of workers walking off the job is being felt throughout the U.S. Currently on strike are the United Auto Workers (UAW), Hollywood writers and actors, factory workers, Starbucks baristas, and others. A spokesperson for UAW seems to sum up the position of workers on picket lines across the land. “These companies are making trillions of dollars, and our workers' wages and conditions have gone backwards.”

Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, I’m praying for the workers, employers, and all the people they serve, affirming that each worker is worthy of all good and that they feel the sacredness and dignity of the job they do. I pray for employers, knowing that they hold a place of honor and they feel the privilege of gathering others under their wings. Their generosity is returned to them. I’m thankful that we are all together in this thing called Life, and that each of us is held as valuable and precious. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
