My Place in the Universe

For the first time, astronomers have detected an element found in our bodies in a galaxy more than 12 billion light-years away. The element, fluorine, originated inside the cores of stars, which released them in stellar explosions. We truly are made of star stuff.

Affirmative prayer: Today, I have a keen awareness of my place in the Universe. I give thanks for the Divine spark within us all and, in this vibration of Oneness, I pray for  those who feel at risk: the people of Ukraine, those in the tornado’s path in Mississippi, and for all who are feeling left behind. May they be upheld, provided for, and comforted. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
