Revealing the Divine in All Things

Today is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, commemorating the life of St. Francis, who was born in the 12th century and is the patron saint of animals and the environment. St. Francis, who founded the Catholic Church’s Franciscan order, is remembered for his generosity to the poor and his ministering to the unwell. He is known for his love for animals and nature. 
“Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love.” – St. Francis of Assisi
Affirmative prayer: Today, I walk in the holy joy of Spirit’s love. The Divine is revealed through my actions, conversations, and my relationships. Thank you, God, for the invitation to be wholly present in all things. Amen.
