Big Ideas for Life

NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, who, as a child, fled Iran with her family, has been assigned as commander of the SpaceX Crew-7 mission to the International Space Station. Jasmin had big ideas for her life while growing up: be an Olympic skier, play in the NBA, or become a pilot and an astronaut. Indeed, she has 2,000 hours of flight time and flown 150 combat missions. She and her husband, Samuel, are the parents of twin girls.
