When soprano Lisette Oropesa was solo performing a Verdi aria in Parma, Italy, she received a helping hand by a fan in the audience. “Sempre Libera” is meant to be sung by a female with a male tenor’s voice from off-stage. When music student Liu Jianwei noticed Lisette was without a duet partner, he boldly stood up and sang the tenor part from the audience.
“Through God, you are called to be a hand to others, to step out of your comfort zone and be like a lighthouse illuminating the Earth.” – A. Helwa, Secrets of Divine Love
Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, today I partner with a friend, an acquaintance, a client, the store clerk, to help reveal life’s beauty in a given moment. I add my voice to the chorus of humankind’s grand performance. Thank you, God, forever, Amen.
