Claiming Freedom for All

“When we let freedom ring from every city and state, we will see the day when all of God's children, black and white, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will join hands and sing, ‘Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!’" – Martin Luther King, Jr.
Affirmative prayer: Today I claim freedom for Americans of all races, faiths, economic status, and sexual and gender orientation. We are free in the Spirit. Though some may be oppressed, I see them absolutely loved by the Divine, and I affirm that their true nature, their equality, is recognized and honored throughout the land. In our government, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and in our hearts, I proclaim freedom for all. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
