Experiencing the Miraculous

Fernando Tatis, third baseman for the St Louis Cardinals, hit two homeruns in the same inning on April 23, 1999, at Dodgers Stadium. History repeated itself when, 22 years later, his son, Fernando Jr., shortstop for the San Diego Padres, hit two home runs in the same Dodger Stadium, in the same inning, on the same date, April 23. “It's crazy," Fernando Jr. said. "It’s reassurance that there's a higher being."
