My Name in the Book of Life

10/6/2022

Researchers in the UK have found that an ancient Greek inscription on a 2,000-year-old marble tablet resembles a yearbook for a graduating class. The tablet, which sat unexamined in the National Museums Scotland collection for more than 130 years, lists the names of young men who finished their civic and military training. One of the names appears to be that of “Caesar,” with the moniker, “Most likely to Succeed.” (not really)
“When God writes our names in the 'Book of Life,' He doesn't do it with an eraser handy. He does it for eternity.” – R.C. Sproul, Renewing Your Mind
Affirmative prayer: I give thanks to know that my name is emblazoned on the heart of Life. That I shall forever be known by the Divine. Pure Spirit breathed me into being and invites me every day to be in a life of wholeness and joy. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
