Pep talks from the mouth of babes

In the throes of a pandemic, ongoing gun violence, and now a war in Ukraine, students at West Side Elementary School in Healdburg, California, wanted to do something positive. They set up a hotline for people to call in and get a pep talk by kids. The Peptoc Hotline invites callers to think about groundhogs, buy ice cream or shoes, and other words of comfort. One message features kids laughing and cheering, "You can do it!" and "Keep trying, don't give up!" The number to call: 707-998-8410.
