See Something; Say Something

Brian Hamilton, equipment manager for the Vancouver Canucks, was doing his job at a hockey game when a fan, Nadia Popovici, held up her phone to him with the words, “The mole on your neck is possibly cancerous. Please see a doctor!” Brian did see a doctor, learned the mole was indeed cancerous and had it removed it. “That woman saved my life.” He and the Canucks thanked Nadia by raising $10,000 for her medical school costs.
“When you see something that is not right, you have to speak up. You have to say something; you have to do something.” – John Lewis, US congressman and civil rights activist
Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, may the words of my mouth and the prayers of my heart align with truth, kindness, and good will as I go about this day. May I be a beneficial presence for all in my arena. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
