Showing Kindness to the Companion, to the Wayfarer

Talk about pro bono. Some Ukrainian refugees are getting help from an Italian lawyer, Andrea Boni, who has made the long drive to Poland multiple times to deliver food, medicine, and clothing, and to bring refugees back home with him to Italy. His law firm is also providing free legal service to the refugees. “I never thought I would do something like this, but then I thought, ‘What if it were my family?’”
“Show kindness to parents, to orphans, and the needy. Show kindness to the neighbor that is a kinsman and the neighbor that is a stranger, the companion by your side, and the wayfarer.” – The Qur’an
Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, I’m grateful for all those who help. For the souls who are rescuing people in war-torn areas, and for those who selflessly show up for their friends, neighbors, and “strangers” in their own community.
