The Power of Accompaniment

Paul Farmer, the physician and humanitarian who founded Partners in Health, passed away last week. His life’s work was to bring health care to those most in need, and to serve as an antidote to despair. A statement by Partners in Health said, “Paul taught all those around him the power of accompaniment, love for one another, and solidarity.” He wrote many books, including "Partner to the Poor."
