We Can Fix It

Avah Lamie of Vermont says a lot in the world needs fixing, like melting glaciers, plastics in the ocean, and the stress of Covid-19 in her school. “Kids fight a lot more now, and I see the worry in my teacher’s face.” But school counselors say there’s hope for us all because our children are resilient, as evidenced by the optimism of 11-year-old Avah. "There's a lot going on right now, but we can fix it."

Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, may I allow the energy and optimism of a child to lead me in ways of hopes fulfilled. I hold the problems before me as opportunities to demonstrate the love and creativity of pure Spirit. I am in union with by sisters and brothers, and we can do wonders through the Divine which sources us and makes us bright and strong. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
