witnessing signs of hope

Praying today for people everywhere in conflict, for those who are threatened, feel unsafe, or marginalized.

Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, with an eye on the goodness of people, with gratitude for the acts of kindness and compassion I see near and far, I speak a prayer of safety and wellbeing for those in danger. May their connection to the Divine and to one another give them comfort, strength, and hope, and may it guide them in the decisions and moves they make. May aggressors feel the love of God with such affinity that their hearts soften, weapons are laid down, and peace become the order of the day. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
