A Freedom Which the Soul Craves

A woman has made history in the United Arab Emirates as the country's first female astronaut. Noura Al-Matrooshi, who as a child gazed at the stars and wondered if a woman would ever be allowed to travel into space, was chosen for the nation’s Space Centre program. “I aim to work hard to script historical moments and achievements that will be etched forever in the memory of our people," she said.
