Fasting from Anger, Judgment, and Separation

On the eve of the Lenten Season

Affirmative prayer: In preparing for lent, I begin fasting from anger, judgments, and the illusion of separation, that I may be fit and strong for the journey of these days, of this life. I center myself in the love of God, and in hope and peace, giving thanks that these Divine qualities are my own true nature. In the light of Oneness, I embrace my sisters and brothers, giving my time and substance to the honor of our shared connection in God. Thank you, Infinite Presence, forever. Amen.
