Fit Instruments of Prayer

Affirmative prayer: On World Day of Prayer, we affirm that the well-being of all living souls is God’s vision and, by that holy means, attainable. In proclaiming this truth, we pray to be fit and pure instruments of spiritual reflection, praying in this manner:  “We pray to get out of our own way so God can be God within us. We pray that Light may break in upon us with such radiance that our prayers are fully illumined. We pray that Love announces itself with such warmth and depth within our hearts that we cannot do less than transmit the feeling of love to all individuals.
