Honoring Desmond Tutu

12/28/2021

Picture
People around the world are celebrating the life of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who passed away December 26. The Nobel Peace Prize laureate is honored for helping to end institutionalized segregation in South Africa, and for lending his voice to other injustices and oppression. "Anywhere humanity is undermined, anywhere people are left in the dust, there we will find our cause."
“There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.”
- Desmond Tutu
“The God who existed before any religion counts on you to make the oneness of the human family known and celebrated.” - Desmond Tutu
Affirmative prayer: Blessings on your journey. Thank you, dear friend to all, forever.
