the Path that Leads us Home

Rene Compean became disorientated while hiking in Angeles National Forest. With his phone battery almost dead, he texted a photo of his surroundings to a friend. The image was posted online and a satellite-mapping enthusiast, Benjamin Kuo, notified the police of the GPS coordinates of Compean’s location. The hiker, who was lost, was found.
“Even though we may be lost in the wilderness, we should never forget that the power which created the wilderness is the very power that builds the path to take us back to the Holy Land.” – Ernest Holmes, Ernest Holmes Speaks
Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, I affirm that, in moments when I feel lost and alone, there is a Divine power and presence with me. I give thanks for the ingenuity and resources of humankind, inspired by pure Spirit. I affirm that my sisters and brothers are forever anchored in the Divine. They are guided by the still, small voice within, lean into the brilliance of the human spirit, and are made safe and whole. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
