Making Whole What was Separate

4/10/2021

Balaram Khamari is a microbiology student who studies the connection of art and science. He recently won an award from the American Society for Microbiology for his art work, Microbial Peacock, made in a petri dish with Escherichia coli.
“Science and art are transcultural. They hold the power to connect, the power to make whole what was separate, to move the human heart to wholeness.”
– Matthew Fox, The Coming of the Cosmic Christ
Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, I give thanks for the creativity, passion, and intelligence of the world’s artists and scientists. I celebrate every point of beauty and discovery in the human experience, and I allow this Divine brilliance to come forth through me, through my liveliness. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
