Mourning and Mending

Praying today for India, for us all…
India accounts for nearly half of all new Covid cases in a global surge. As Indian officials reported nearly 350,000 new infections on Saturday, hospitals are full, oxygen supplies are low, and people are dying in line waiting to see doctors.

Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, we pray for all those in India and around the world who are touched by this virus, for those who are ill, their families and friends, and for those who care for them. May these lives and the bodies they inhabit be steeped in the love, vigor, and energy of God. May health and vitality be returned to their body temples. May those who care for others be strengthened, supported, and equipped for all that is needed. We affirm that health, balance, and justice is restored. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
