secrets of the universe

According to the National Academies of Sciences, over the next decade scientists aim to unlock the secrets of the Universe and identify Earth-like planets outside of our solar system to find other habitable worlds. In their quest, scientists want to learn the nature of black holes and neutron stars, and understand how galaxies originated. They say their research could reveal if we truly are alone.
