The Golden Ratio

Mathematicians, scientists, and naturalists have observed for centuries that the “golden ratio” of 1.618 is a fundamental pattern for the building blocks of nature. The ratio is found in everything, from atoms to the most advanced patterns in the Universe, the makeup of a flower, the pyramids, and the human body. The golden ratio appears in geometry, art, architecture, and nature. It’s been called the most beautiful number in the Universe. Renaissance artists called it the “Divine proportion.”
