To Know as I am Known

Jennifer Dowker was on the Cheboygan River in Michigan when an old, green bottle caught her eye. A message in the bottle, written in 1926, read, "Will the person who finds this bottle return it to George Cheboygan, and tell where it was found?" George’s daughter, Michele, heard of the find on Facebook and rejoiced in seeing her dad’s handwriting.
“Now I see through a glass darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; but then, I know even as I am known.” - 1 Corinthians 13:12
Affirmative prayer:  Infinite Presence, today I look not at the mirror image of the blessed souls around me, but rather I see them up close, face to face. I see as God sees, truly knowing my kindred companions as I am known by the Divine. My soul rejoices in the sacred crossings of our lives. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
