Tunnel to Towers

Frank Siller walked 500 miles, from the Pentagon to the Freedom Tower, to honor his brother, Stephen, a NYC firefighter who died on 9/11. On that day, Stephen ran in full gear from the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers, then ran into the Towers. Twenty years ago, Frank founded the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports first responders, veterans, and their families by providing mortgage-free homes. By the end of 2021, the foundation will have paid off or built 450 homes. Frank completed his walk this past Saturday, September 11 – 42 days after he began.

Affirmative prayer: Infinite Presence, my heart opens and my hands reach out to help my soul companions. I pray for those who have lost someone dear, offering them my love, compassion, and resources.
