Works of our Hands

A unanimous Supreme Court said that student athletes could receive education-related payments, a case that could reshape college sports by allowing more money from a billion-dollar industry to go to the players. Justice Brett Kavanaugh said that all workers should be paid a “fair market rate.” It is hoped that the ruling will carry on a wave of justice for workers everywhere.

Affirmative prayer: Today, I am a beneficial presence. My work – be it for livelihood, a cause, or a personal project – is for the good of those around me. Truly, because we are all connected in the One Life, the whole world is made better by my work and by the labor of my sisters and brothers. I give thanks for the fair compensation for everyone, affirming that the works of our hands is indeed love made visible.  Thank you, God, forever. Amen.
