ROSH HASHANA; MENDING, PURIFYING, CREATING

A shoemaker was observed late one night working by the light of a single candle. When asked why he was working so late, he replied, “As long as the candle is still burning it is still possible to mend shoes.” Truth for us all. It’s never too late to mend, to make new again.
Affirmative prayer Today, the beginning of the Jewish new year, I am thankful for the teaching that the spark of divine energy is never extinguished, to know that my measure of Sacred life is replenished moment by moment. I can mend, purify, and create anew, always. Amen.
