8-17-20 praying strength, courage, and resourcefulness for those in the storm

In prayer today for those in the wake of the derecho, the straight-line windstorm that tore through the Midwest, as well as those threatened by wildfires in the West.

Affirmative prayer: “Infinite Presence, I pray that all affected by fires and storms are having their needs met. May they be safe and feel the support of others gallantly helping them. May all the responders be safe and know how much they are appreciated. Dear God, may others on the planet who are experiencing similar threats feel the love and energy of this prayer. I affirm that the strength, courage, and resourcefulness on display in these situations are also in me, that I may be of high service in this world. Thank you, God, forever. Amen.” – Rev. Scott
