my journey of awakening

My family and I recently noticed four Buddhist monks dressed in orange robes walking through a parking lot. When our son asked about them, I explained, "Their life is a quest for enlightenment." My husband pondered, "I wonder what kind of car they drive." Then jokingly suggested, "A Ford Focus?" I came back with, “A Honda Odyssey." The monks got into a Pathfinder.
Affirmative Prayer: Infinite Spirit, today I continue my journey of awakening. The Divine goes before me to make the crooked places straight and, time and again, I come to the awareness that all the love in the Universe is mine, and mine to give. Thank you, God, forever. Amen. – Rev. Scott
